Terms of Service

1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS By checking the agreement box and completing your purchase, you ("the Student") enter into a binding agreement with Zakaria Mahmoud Zaine ("the Architect"), the sole creator and operator of Ataraxia. These Terms govern your access to all platform content. Your purchase cannot be completed without first confirming acceptance of these Terms. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time; material changes will be communicated via email, and continued use of the platform following notification constitutes acceptance.

2. WHAT YOU ARE PURCHASING Ataraxia is a two-phase digital education program delivered through Teachable.

  • Phase I — The Scripture: Upon purchase, you are enrolled immediately into the Ataraxia program, with the 160,000-word written curriculum delivered one lesson per day over approximately 31 days. This daily structure is not a technical limitation — it is the methodology itself. Each lesson is designed to be practiced, observed, and internalized before the next is introduced. Purchasing Ataraxia constitutes full acknowledgment and acceptance of this delivery format.

  • Phase II — The Codex: A supplementary video intervention of 20+ lessons focused on real-world application. Codex access opens no earlier than 75 days after purchase and is conditional on demonstrated engagement with Phase I, evaluated through the platform's built-in quizzes, open-response exercises, and daily tasks. This is a deliberate sequencing requirement — not an arbitrary delay. Students who engage with Phase I earnestly and in good faith will receive access. Submissions that are visibly incomplete or perfunctory will not meet the threshold. Upon qualifying, Codex access will be granted within 7 business days of the review being completed.

3. SALES POLICY Due to the nature of this product — a structured digital program that begins delivery immediately upon enrollment — all sales are final. From the moment of purchase, you are enrolled, your daily lesson sequence begins, and intellectual property that cannot be returned or recovered is actively being delivered to you. For this reason, we are unable to issue refunds, partial or full, after a purchase has been made.

This includes situations involving:

  • The daily drip delivery format

  • The 75-day sequential access structure for the Codex

  • Personal circumstances arising after purchase

  • A decision not to engage with the material

These terms are presented and agreed to before payment is processed. If there is any uncertainty about whether this program is the right fit, we encourage you to make that determination before purchasing. Our support team is available at contact@ataraxia.institute to answer any pre-purchase questions you may have. In the event of a payment dispute, we maintain complete records of enrollment, daily lesson delivery, and platform access, and we will respond to any inquiry from payment processors with full documentation.

4. DELIVERY SCHEDULE Phase I of Ataraxia is delivered on a structured daily schedule — one lesson per day for approximately 31 days. This cadence is a core feature of the program. Each lesson is accompanied by a daily exercise and reflection practice that requires a full day to observe and absorb before the next lesson can be meaningfully received. This structure is explained in full prior to purchase. By completing your purchase, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of it.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & ENFORCEMENT All content within Ataraxia — including the Scripture, the Codex, all frameworks, methods, exercises, and associated materials — is the exclusive intellectual property of Zakaria Mahmoud Zaine. Your purchase grants you a single-user, non-transferable, non-sublicensable personal license to access this content for your own use only.

The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate, permanent access termination:

  • Sharing login credentials or access links with any third party

  • Reproducing, distributing, or reselling any portion of the content in any format

  • Participating in or facilitating group purchases or account sharing

  • Uploading or republishing any content to third-party platforms, communities, or forums

We take intellectual property theft seriously. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and international copyright treaties, we will aggressively pursue the removal of any unauthorized content. We reserve the right to pursue all available legal remedies against any individual or entity found in violation of these terms.

6. EDUCATIONAL DISCLAIMER Ataraxia draws on neuroscience, behavioral psychology, and applied strategy. All content is provided for educational purposes only and does not constitute medical, psychiatric, therapeutic, or legal advice. Zakaria Mahmoud Zaine is not a licensed medical or mental health professional. Any strategies, frameworks, or practices you choose to apply from this program are undertaken entirely at your own discretion. If you are currently working with a mental health professional, we recommend consulting them before engaging with this material.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Zakaria Mahmoud Zaine and Ataraxia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or your application of its content. No specific outcomes — social, psychological, relational, or otherwise — are guaranteed. This program provides an architecture. What you build with it is yours entirely.

8. ACCESS TERMINATION We reserve the right to suspend or permanently revoke platform access for conduct that violates these Terms, including intellectual property violations, conduct that is abusive toward support staff, or behavior that compromises the integrity of the platform or other students. In cases of termination due to intellectual property violations, no refund obligation exists. In all other cases, you will be notified at the email address on file.

For the convenience and protection of our global student base, these Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You explicitly agree that the exclusive jurisdiction for any claim or action arising out of these Terms shall be the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, USA.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Zakaria Mahmoud Zaine reserves the right to pursue injunctive relief or intellectual property enforcement actions (including DMCA notices) in any jurisdiction worldwide where infringement occurs.
